Beverly Nguyen is a true connector and culture shaper. A sought-after fashion stylist and magazine editor, she has also carved out a name for herself in retail with her own boutique on New York’s Lower East Side. BEVERLY’S was first launched in April 2021 with a design pop-up at the intersection of Chinatown and Lower East Side at 22 Ludlow Street.
Based on Nguyen’s love of accessible, everyday design, and in the spirit of her grandparents, who founded a general store in 1960s Bien Hoa, Vietnam, BEVERLY’S was founded with a commitment to growing a vibrant community - a space to gather, linger and discover beauty in everyday objects. Following its inaugural shop on Ludlow Street, Beverly went on to become the first Asian woman to open a storefront at the historic Rockefeller Center, followed by a prominent stop-in-shop at Nordstrom’s 57th Street Flagship Store. Now, Beverly has returned full-circle to the heart of where BEVERLY’S was born, with her permanent shop on Orchard Street–a space that embodies the same spirit as its first iteration, but one that has grown and evolved with its community.
